Asbestos

Testing for asbestos is now required before City Plan Review Inspectors will even review prints for remodeling or demo of any site. We can schedule a licensed asbestos inspector to take a sample and send to a lab to be tested. A certificate will then be issued to accompany the prints for City approval. Approximately 2 weeks for testing is necessary.

Asset Liquidation

Are you decommissioning your site or buying new furniture and need to liquidate. We can help. We have access to buyers of office furniture and equipment. We understand these things are very time sensitive in most cases and we have the resources to take care of it quickly and get you the best price available.

Carpet & Flooring

Cornerstone has a large network of carpet, tile, and wood flooring dealers that give us a good contractor price that we can share with our clients. We have our own installers for commercial glue down and stretch carpeting, sheet vinyl and ceramic tile. We can get any product on the market and provide you with a turnkey solution to your flooring needs.

Catering

We have a wide variety of catering company's we use for everything from on-site company meeting to off site company parties. Just call our offices and tell us what your event is, timing, and number of participants and we will take care of all the rest. We can give you a quote over the phone.

We provide coffee service including coffee machines and all necessary supplies. Choose from a variety of machines that can give hot and cold filtered water and/or warmers and thermos units for taking the pot to the board room or meetings. We provide installation, training on proper use and cleaning and maintenance for all equipment.

CPR & AED Training

Every business should have trained employees in life saving techniques. Larger companies will train several employees and establish an emergency procedure to make sure of an adequate communication process and ample supplies and equipment are in place. Small companies need to be just as prepared for such emergencies. Cornerstone Management is proud to be equipping DFW area business's with the skills necessary to save a life. We can schedule your designated safety officer and backup for a class or for larger groups of 8 or more we can bring the class to you. Information will be distributed to the attendee's that will cover, identifying a health issue, administering first aid, contacting emergency personal, and if needed performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (Automated external defibrillation). Review material will also be handed out for refreshing skills later. A 2 year certification is obtained in one 7 hour class for First Aid, CPR and AED training.

Demo

Do you need to start over or do you need to remove unwanted building material? We have the resources and personnel to come in and demo all types of construction build-out. State law now requires all demo work to first be inspected and certified by a licensed Asbestos inspection company before any work is started. We have a network of resources to inspect and certify or remove any hazardous material if found. We can remove all materials in a timely manner working within the city/state/national building codes.

Disaster Response & Evacuation

Do you have an established procedure in the event of a disaster? A simple plan communicated to your staff and scheduled drills can save lives. We feel strongly in being prepared for such an event. Smoke and fire are just a couple of deadly issues to consider this days. Security systems, evacuation procedures, first aid supplies and safety equipment are also very important considerations. For liability sake as well as the health of your staff, every business should have trained professionals evaluate, make recommendations and implement procedures that will insure the safe and rapid evacuation in the event of an emergency. Protecting your company starts by protecting your staff.

Document Destruction

Are you in need of a document destruction system? We have a company that provides on-site destruction of your sensitive records. We can schedule a regular pickup day or send the truck out upon your request. All shredded paper is 100% recycled. Locked bens for your paper to be shredded are provided.

Electrical

We have a licensed electrician available for any electrical project that requires a City or State inspection. Experienced in Parking lot lighting, interior and exterior security lighting, overhead and recessed lighting, exit lights, power supplies, switch gear, service entry systems, panel systems, transformers, low voltage systems, new construction as well as remodeling and Finish-out. We can take care of jobs as small as a single switch or as large as a complete metered service.

Energy Inspection & Compliance

We have a certified Energy inspector that can perform and file an energy inspection report for any construction or finish-out project. There are 2 phases to this inspection process. The first is completed by pulling data from prints and entered into a computer program to qualify plans in the latest adopted energy code guidelines. All plan prints now must be certified before they will be inspected by city plan review inspector. An energy data requirements sheet will be issued for compliance by the contractor managing the construction/finish-out project. A site inspection is then performed upon completion of work to insure compliance and to certify an Energy Inspection Summary Sheet before City final inspection can be complete.

Equipment Inventory

This is one of the most over looked task in business today. There are several reasons to have and keep up to date a complete inventory of all of your equipment and furnishings. First of all, you must ask yourself, if there was a fire or other tragedy, could you remember everything you had before, and would the insurance company take your word for it? Second, how do you know how much insurance it will take to cover the replacement cost of everything you have? Third, doesn't your accountant need to know what you own or lease so they can declare and depreciate the value. Fourth, It gives you the opportunity to review lease agreements and condition of equipment. Fifth, It provides documentation for loss prevention. Sixth, It contributes a valuable asset to your net worth. We have designed spreadsheets to account for all of your property and can catalog everything for you.

Equipment Maintenance/Repairs

We have a network of equipment repair technicians to solve most any equipment troubles. Toners, drums, transfer kits and part replacement to name a few. The next time your equipment is on the fritz, just give us a call. We also have next day delivery for most toners. If you need the right toner fast, we've got you covered.

Fire Marshal Inspection Compliance

Annual Fire Marshal inspections require fire extinguishers to be re-certified each year and all exit signs and lights to be tested. Electrical panels also have restrictions concerning access and identification of emergence lighting. If your equipment is not in compliance, the Fire Marshal Inspector will issue you a noncompliance ticket that will usually give you 3 to 10 days before a re-inspection will occur. Subsequent fines will be issued if the items listed are not corrected. We can schedule Pre-inspection test of all these areas so you always remain in compliance as well as insure your employee's a safe work environment. We have available to us a family owned, licensed HVAC contracting company that provides all of our commercial work. They provide 24 hour emergency service as well as all of our new installation. The can perform preventative maintenance and checkups or, services calls for your repair needs. We provide a maintenance program that can keep you up to date on all of your preventative maintenance needs such as HVAC filter changes, winterization and condensation lines cleared. We also can maintain the caulking around bathrooms, kitchens, toilet tank and valve repairs, faucet repairs, furniture touchups, light fixtures and ballasts replacements and bulb changes. We test exit signs and lighting for compliance and effectiveness. We can do carpet and wall patches, door and window repairs or replacement, texture and paint repairs, knobs and locks replaced or re-keyed, breakers, switches and outlets replaced, slow or clogged drains cleared.

We have certified technicians that can install, test and certify network cabling for your offices. Our technical staff can install everything from cat 3 phone cables to cat 5 or 6 network cable and terminate to existing equipment or install hubs and switch gear for completing your network or phone systems. We can diagram and print your entire network scheme from scratch or address and label existing with layout for future expansion. We are currently looking at expanding this support to fiber optics. Pre Occupancy Inspection, Evaluation

Example: We have seen where a tenant was able to strike a lease agreement that saved him $1.50 per sq. ft. because the landlord didn't want to have a wall and door constructed that would cost him $1,500. The tenant took the cheaper rent on a 5 year lease and had Cornerstone Management build the wall for him for $900 on a weekend. The space was 1700 sq. ft. The tenant saved $2,550 per year for 5 years totaling $12,750 after paying $900 for the wall and door he wanted.

We provide a service to our clients to arrange for packing and boxing of material and equipment. We have established accounts for the transporting of your goods to any location you need. If you find yourself needing to ship form your location, just give us a call and we will come out to inventory, box, label and arrange for pickup. We also offer off-site storage for shipping and received goods. We have accounts setup for in-town courier service. If you need a local courier for a one time delivery or regular service, we've got you covered.

Signage

We know the city ordinances for street addressing, ADA and non-smoking signage, size and placement, and can install them for you. We also service and install fire exit signs replacement bulbs/battery backup and emergency lighting.

We have packers and movers ready to plan and deliver your equipment and supplies to their new home. We work off a move check list that we have developed to make sure all considerations are weighed before we start. We will box, identify, seal and inventory everything so it is delivered to the appropriate room at your new location. Our movers work directly with the buildings management to provide required insurance and coordinate times/dates restrictions and service elevator locations to insure a smooth transition.
